Originally from SC I worked as a hairstylist and make-up artist in Chesapeake, VA and Myrtle Beach, SC before finally finding my home in Florida in 1989. I have stayed current and continued education classes as I believe you can never stop learning in this industry. After taking a leave from the salon to open a retail store I have returned with an even greater love of the salon industry with a passion for giving my clients a style that compliments their lifestyle and can be recreated outside the salon experience. The relationships I have established with my clients through the years is a cherished part of my career. I am so happy to be a part of such a talented team at Statements Salon.
When not working, I volunteer at Carenet Crisis Pregnancy Center as a counselor. I also volunteer as a small group leader in the children's ministry at Bayside Church. My volunteer work is a very important part of my life as I feel you need to give back to your community. I love the Lakewood Ranch area as i have been a resident here for 8 years and can't imagine my life anywhere else.
